HATHA YOGA

This practice comes from Shiva. A Hindu god from 2500 BC. Shiva has many super yogic teachings, but here the practice of Hatha Yoga will be presented.

The practice consists of sitting in various postures while doing a deep and continuous breathing exercise. The objective of the practice is to calm and focus the mind, release all tension from the body, make the body stronger and improve balance. This will increase your flexibility, agility and stability. We all have the potential to be contortionists. To reach this level requires years of dedication to the practice of Hatha Yoga.

There are standing poses, seated poses, lying down on the back poses, lying down on the belly poses, balancing poses, and centering poses. All are developed to find every drop of tension in the body and to release it through deep breathing.

If you are new to Hatha Yoga, I recommend that after reading this article, you go online and search for a 10–15 minute Yoga workout and give it a try. At first, as with any training, it will seem difficult, but over time you will get better and better. The key aspect of the training is deep and continuous breathing and focus on correct posture. It will take some time for you to be able to breathe correctly while maintaining a correct posture. With continuous practice you will improve.

As always, you’ll start off easy at first to get used to the workout. You start with 15-30 minutes for one week, then go for 30-60 minutes the second week, and so on. You can get to a point where you can do a 2 hour workout or more. The more you practice, the easier it will be to do more. Always strive to be able to practice as much as possible. The more time you dedicate to the practice of Hatha Yoga, the more you release the tension in your body and increase your strength and balance. Listen to your body when you practice. During the first few weeks of practice, you will need to rest every other day, so one day you practice and the next day you recover. In time, you will grow in your practice. You will feel how long it is good for you to do it and what postures need more work. You will see that there is a lot of work to be done. This practice, like all others, must be for life. There is no stopping, just keep doing it and keep growing and evolving with it.

Yoga gives you a super flexible, balanced and fantastic looking body. The yoga girls look amazing. By achieving such high levels of flexibility and balance, you are able to perform super moves of the body and have a peaceful and focused mind.

For a maximum effect, the practice must be done daily, at first once a day and then 2 times a day, upon waking up and before going to bed. In a relatively short time of doing yoga properly, you will feel how your body improves dramatically.

Enjoy the super teaching of Hatha Yoga. Infinite eternal love, light and gratitude to Lord Master Shiva for sharing this gift from the Gods.
